The mark

A longbox, turned into an L.

The Longboxed mark is an open longbox drawn into the letter L — three comic books leaning inside it, the way they actually sit in the box. It stands for the thing the product does: your books, safe in one place, easy to find. The mark ships in two forms — gold on Midnight for dark grounds (our primary look) and a midnight version for light grounds. Use the files below rather than redrawing it.

The name

Why “Longboxed”.

A longbox is the archival cardboard box collectors have stored comics in for decades — long, sturdy, built to hold a few hundred bagged-and-boarded books. It is the unit of a collection: you don't own three hundred comics, you own two longboxes. Longboxed takes that idea digital — the whole collecting life in one place: what you own, what it's worth, where it sits on the shelf, what's coming out next week. When a collection is cataloged, valued, and organized, it's longboxed.

Every collection, Longboxed.

Logo guidelines

Using the mark.

Use the supplied files. The downloads below are the only approved versions of the mark and lockup.
Give it clear space. Keep a margin around the mark at least the height of the box itself, on every side.
Keep it legible. Minimum size: 48px for the full lockup, 16px for the mark alone (favicon size).
Pick the right variant. Gold mark on dark grounds, midnight mark on light grounds. If in doubt, use gold on Midnight.
Don't recolor the mark outside the two supplied variants, and don't place it on busy imagery that fights it.
Don't distort — no stretching, rotating, outlining, drop shadows, or other effects.
Don't attach the mark to your own logo, product name, or lockup, and don't use it as a letter inside another word.
Don't imply endorsement. Using the mark in coverage is welcome; using it to suggest a partnership requires a written agreement with us.
Using our name

Writing “Longboxed”.

One word, capital L

Always Longboxed — never “Long Boxed”, “LongBoxed”, or “longboxed” in running text. In our own lockups the “boxed” half carries the gold; in plain text, just write the word normally.

First mention

On first reference: “Longboxed, the comic collecting platform”. Longboxed is a product of Gotham IT Innovations LLC — mention the company only where corporate attribution matters.

What we are

Describe Longboxed as a platform or workstation for comic collectors and comic shops — cataloging, valuation, organization, and retail. Longboxed is independent and not affiliated with any comic publisher.
